UNCOMMON INSIGHT

It takes uncommon insight to increase business in today's competitive markets; to find new opportunities; simplify complex messages into a newsworthy sound bite; or take a smart, common-sense approach when bells-and-whistles are so much more fun.

But that's what we do. Why? Because it works.

Unlike many agencies, we aren't looking to sell you a bunch of unnecessary ads, brochures or voluminous PR plans you can "refer" to next time someone asks if you have one. In fact, we have been known to advise clients against hiring us or any other firm when we know it won't deliver what you need or want.

SERVICES

Strategy Thinking
At The Marcus Group our insight offers a view beyond your company walls. Helping you understand your audience is a big part of how we help you communicate more effectively and discover new opportunities. To that end, we offer a variety of services to help you grow and promote your business, products and services.

Advertising
Should you use newspapers, radio, TV, direct mail, internet or something else to advertise your products and services? How much do you need to spend? How can you tell if it’s working? Obviously, there’s more to advertising than creating the ad. We can help you accurately identify your targets, determine the appropriate mix of media to reach your targets and develop a compelling message. Trying to advertise everything to everyone is often a mistake. Advertising is everywhere – we can help you make your message stand out and show you how you can use other communication tools to support your advertising.
• Graphic Design

• Media Planning & Buying

• Copywriting & Editing

• Direct Mail Coordination

• Marketing Communications (collateral, annual reports, newsletters)

• Project Management

Public Relations
No one gets inside a client’s story like we do. We’re not spaghetti throwers. You know – people who throw a bunch of press releases at the wall and hope something sticks. We go above and beyond the proverbial press release to communicate your message to your audience.

And, believe it or not, sometimes staying out of the paper is harder than getting into it. The Marcus Group has a proven track record of “turning tables” on issues to reveal the untold truths behind the hype.

In the end, we’re your lifeline to your audience. We can help you put the right words in the right ears. Our public relations services include:
• Community Relations

• Corporate Reputation/Social Responsibility

• Employee/Labor Relations

• Financial Communications/Investor Relations

• Interactive/Online Communications

• Media Relations

• Public Affairs

Crisis Management
It’s not if a crisis happens, it’s when…Even the most well-run, socially responsible company is subject to a variety of crisis situations. While not every crisis can be avoided, increased knowledge, preparation and proper training can help a company put the events that do occur under immediate control, and keep them under control as the issue is addressed.

We have helped numerous clients before, during and after a crisis including developing communication contingency plans for hospitals, utilities, manufacturing plants, energy facilities and various other companies.

Crisis management specialists at The Marcus Group work to ensure our clients’ crisis preparedness and can respond 24/7 to help manage an actual crisis situation.
